Mercedes’ G-Class has been cult for more than 35 years. The edgy design, the powerful engines and the luxurious equipment have a loyal fan base. Mercedes crowns this series with the G63 and G65 AMG versions. HAMANN, however, goes one better and individualises the Mercedes-Benz G63 with its body kit “Spyridon” to make it a highly exclusive and spectacular off-road model.

With its wide-body kit “Spyridon”, HAMANN even emphasises the typical characteristics of the G-Class models. The front skirt with pronounced wing extensions make the robust four-wheeler appear more martially. The suitable rear skirt includes a diffuser that does not need to leave space for the sports exhaust system: the pipes with anodised alloy tail pieces are integrated into the wide side skirts that also hides under car illumination. The bonnet is available in black or checkered flag carbon fibre; the same applies to exterior mirror trims. And finally, the air outlets on the bonnet can be ordered in light glass fibre.

Spyridon lovers can enjoy HAMANN’s very exclusive set of forged light-alloy rims in large 23 and 24 inch dimensions: the “Edition Race Anodized” comes with a cross-spoke design with titanium bolts and high-gloss polished rim flange, and the “Unique Forged Anodized” is completely black.

HAMANN adds a distinctive flair to the G-Class models’ interior with its exclusive accessories. These include anodised alloy applications for the pedals and a set of foot mats made of black pearl velour with an embroidered HAMANN lettering in silver colour. The door sills are available as stainless-steel version illuminated white. And then there are the car door LED welcome projector lights with the HAMANN logo that facilitate access to the car. Other special options are available on request. All of the highest quality parts are handmade and precisely installed. HAMANN refines the cars at the company’s headquarters in Laupheim as well as at international partner sites.

The HAMANN bonnet made from visible carbon fibre strongly highlights the sportiness – it makes perfectly clear: this is not the standard version of the AMG GLE 63 S, but a very special car. The more than impressive appearance of the SUV results from a three-part front spoiler. And as is right and proper for such a thoroughbred athlete the HAMANN concept impresses with clearly defined muscles in form of wing extensions in the front (four parts) and in the back (6 parts) that are underlined by self-confidently shaped side skirts. Compared to the standard version, the car thus gains nine centimetres in width.

At the rear, the tuners conclude the wide-body chapter with an extra wide skirt bottom. The tail pieces in a special design – available in black or silver – are integrated perfectly here. The HAMANN MOTORSPORT diffuser is removable and therefore particularly attractive for vehicles with trailer hitch. The crowning touch is an elegantly sporty rear wing with filigree brackets made of anodised aluminium.

Exclusive 22-inch light-alloy wheels from the HAMANN MOTORSPORT “Challenge” series decorate the GLE. The high-quality rims are equipped with Conti Sport Contact 5P sized 285/40 ZR22 on the front axle and 325/35 ZR22 on the rear axle.

Thanks to this wheel/tyre combination the output potential of the strong SUV can be fully used, also when testing the limits. The standard AMG GLE with its 5.5-litre engine already produces 585 hp (430 kW) that press up to 760 Nm on the crank. Not bad at all, but more is possible after HAMANN MOTORSPORT’s performance cure. Thanks to a new ignition map programming, the technicians coax 680 hp (500 kW) out of the eight-cylinder engine – almost 17 per cent more performance. The torque rises to impressive 900 Nm – more than 18 per cent increase. And, as if incidentally, the refiners from Laupheim loosen the electronic bonds for the car to be able to reach 300 km/h.

The specialty are the inner values

Those seeking the exclusive something for the interior will make a find at HAMANN as well. The cockpit and headrests are refined by sporty, precious applications in one of HAMANN’s proven deluxe versions. And the sport pedals as well as the exclusive set of floor mats with HAMANN logo should not miss. All components are available separately or as complete package. HAMANN refines new cars completely from the date of delivery or retrofits already registered vehicles.

More than 50 years after the introduction of the legendary gullwing, the Mercedes-Benz 300 SL, the brand with the star dared to launch a new edition in 2009: the SLS. A super sportscar as coupé (C 197) and roadster (R 197) for which HAMANN Motorsport has developed an exclusive range of accessories. A best-seller of different nature is the G model from Mercedes-Benz. Off-roader per se since three decades, the vehicle in the AMG version is a popular refinement object. From the aerodynamics kit, potent power advancement to carbon fibre in the interior – nothing is impossible.

More strength, more sound, more look

Over and over again, HAMANN Motorsport’s packages for approved power advancement impress. For the AMG G55, the large kit means 600 hp, splendid 795 Nm torque and an acceleration to 100 km/h within 5.1 seconds. The top speed increases from 210 to imposing 261 km/h – a steam hammer on the street.

This strong acceleration calls for a strong appearance. HAMANN Motorsport’s aerodynamics know-how is helpful here. The “Spyridon” kit dresses the G in an appealing outfit with new front skirt, wing extensions, side skirts including under car illumination, roof spoiler and rear diffuser. The “Hawk” kit with power dome and air scoop on the roof makes the SLS ready for the show. The exclusive attachment kits perfectly and precisely fit in the body. HAMANN Motorsport assures expertise at top level here.

This also applies to the HAMANN Motorsport sports exhaust systems, which are special treats in terms of look and sound. The six-pipe sport rear muffler for the AMG G55 for example is such a unique item. For the SLS, HAMANN Motorsport offers the stainless-steel tailpipes in mirror polished or black powder coated design – perfectly matching the respective car colour and rear skirt.

Lower, wider, nicer

More power, aerodynamics and sound – one should not skimp on driving dynamics here. HAMANN Motorsport has amazing upgrades for the Mercedes models: for example, a coil over and lowering kit with progressive springs for the SLS, making the super sportscar fly through curves and show its racing genes. That fits. And is guaranteed by HAMANN MOTORSPORT’s technical department which tests such modifications on the race track. For Germany, they also come with a TÜV certificate.

Just like the exclusive light-alloy wheels from HAMANN Motorsport such as the “Edition Race Anodized” for the G55 Compressor. An ultra-lightweight three-part forged rim in cross-spoke design and titanium bolts. HAMANN equips them with the suitable high-performance tyres with appropriate speed rating.

Last but not least, HAMANN offers precious accessories turning the tuning models into an exclusive and unique item. For example, with the 24-part set made of visible carbon for the AMG G55. Perfectly illuminated door sills made of stainless steel, pedals made of black anodised aluminium, a black leather steering wheel and pearl velour floor mats round off the interior design. And a very exclusive highlight are the car door LED welcome projector lights with HAMANN logo that make the access to the car both safer and unique.

Видел этот гелик в Вилнюсе. Когда все как люди стояли в пробке и терпеливо ждали своей очереди, тот пролетел по свободной полосе и нагло пробралса без очереди, даже не удивился, все как то к лицу такому автомобилю.

Московское тюнинг-ателье TopCar доработало самый мощный внедорожник Mercedes-Benz G-Class, используя детали пакета Spyridon от компании Hamann в сочетании с новыми аксессуарами собственной разработки. Топовый Mercedes G65 AMG снабдили агрессивным обвесом кузова и большими колесами, что в сочетании с опущенной подвеской и карбоновыми внешними элементами придает бывшему военному джипу более спортивный стиль. Кроме того автомобилю освежили отделку салона и подарили спортивный выхлоп.

Взглянуть по-новому на брутальный немецкий внедорожник помогают иной передний бампер с тремя отверстиями воздухозаборников и светодиодами, карбоновые капот и корпуса зеркал заднего вида, накладки на пороги, спойлер в конце крыши и видоизмененный задний бампер. Расширенные колесные арки помогли вместить большие черные диски на широкой резине. Интерьер Mercedes-Benz G65 AMG Spyridon в исполнении TopCar – это настоящее царство роскоши и комфорта, где обильно используется высококачественная стеганая кожа, крокодилья кожа и натуральное дерево.
