262 MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES
EMISSION CONTROL SYSTEM MAINTENANCE
The "Scheduled" maintenance services, listed in bold type must be done at the times or mileages specified to assure the continued proper functioning of the emission control system. These, and all other maintenance services included in this manual, should be done to provide best vehicle performance and reliability. More frequent maintenance may be needed for vehicles in severe operating conditions such as dusty areas and very short trip driving.
Inspection and service also should be done any time a malfunction is suspected.
NOTE: Maintenance, replacement, or repair of the emission control devices and systems on your vehicle may be performed by any automotive repair establishment or individual using any automotive part which has been certified pursuant to U.S. EPA or, in the State of California, California Air Resources Board regulations.
MAINTENANCE SCHEDULES
There are two maintenance schedules that show the required service for your vehicle.
First is Schedule "B". It is for vehicles that are operated under the conditions that are listed below and at the beginning of the schedule.
Day or night temperatures are below 32°F (0°C)
Stop and go driving
Excessive engine idling
Driving in dusty conditions
Short trips of less than 10 miles (16.2 km)
More than 50% of your driving is at sustained high
speeds during hot weather, above 90°F (32°C)
Taxi, police, or delivery service (commercial service)
Off-road or desert driving
If equipped for and operated with E-85 (ethanol)
fuel.
NOTE: Most vehicles are operated under the conditions listed for Schedule "B."
Second is Schedule "A". It is for vehicles that are not operated under any of the conditions listed under Schedule "B."
Use the schedule that best describes your driving conditions. Where time and mileage are listed, follow the interval that occurs first.
Failure to perform the required maintenance items may result in damage to the vehicle.
At Each Stop for Fuel
• Check the engine oil level about 5 minutes after a fully warmed engine is shut off. Checking the oil level while the vehicle is on level ground will improve the accu racy of the oil level reading. Add oil only when the level is at or below the ADD or MIN mark.

• Check the windshield washer solvent, add as required.
Once a Month
Check the tire pressure and look for unusual wear or
damage.
Inspect the battery and clean and tighten the terminals
as required.
Check the fluid levels of the coolant reservoir, brake
master cylinder, and transmission, and add as needed.
Check all lights and all other electrical items for correct
operation.
At Each Oil Change
Change the engine oil filter.
Inspect the exhaust system.
Inspect brake hoses.
Check the coolant level, hoses, and clamps.
Inspect manual transmission fluid level — if
equipped.

Rotate the tires at each oil change interval shown on Schedule "A" 6,000 miles (10 000 km) or every other interval shown on Schedule "B" 6,000 miles (10 000 km).
After completion of off-road operation, the underside of the vehicle should be thoroughly inspected. Examine threaded fasteners for looseness.

Подскажите где можно скачать, купить, достать руководство по ремонту для "джека", можно даже на английском. Очень мало информации. Часть информации по моментам затяжек я нашёл, но больше интересуют взрыв схемы и рекомендации по ремонту. Спрашиваю, потому что планирую самостоятельно обслуживать машину не из-за недостатка денег, а потому что мне это интересно и вроде как спокойнее что ли!
Стоит ли обслуживаться у диллера. Ещё в сомнениях, так как кроме механической части в машине много электронники для обслуживания которой у меня нет соответствующих приборов и главное опыта.
плохо все с мануалами на эту машинку. по движке ищи от чирка и либерти мануалы, у них то же самое.
есть мануал в идиотском формате под браузер ИЕ6, на более новых версиях не открывается.
У меня все в голове ;)
Надо просто полюбить эту машину!
У дилеров не надо-все просто , нужен нормальный мастер,понимающий,- и все!
Многие вещи ,которые вам не понятны - можете найти на ютубе.
Книжка вам не особо поможет-читайте форум,здесь все есть по этой машине! :)

Есть сервис мануал в "идиотском" формате для JK 2008 года, в том числе для дизеля 2.8.
Я его уже почти весь сконвертировал в pdf, кроме 3-х глав, с ними пока не получается. Да, pdf'ка тоже будет кривая, без оглавления и ссылки не будут работать.
Думаю доделаю на выходных, тогда выложу.
Но его применять полноценно можно на машины 2007-2009 годов включительно. После рестайла 2010 нужен уже другой мануал.
В свободном доступе на торрентах есть сервис мануал на 2007 год, но там нет дизеля.

эмммм. у меня есть мануал 2008 и в пдфе уже изначально. причем даже в темках где то было, обычно если народу надо, пишут в личку мне почту свою и я кидаю, так же есть мануал по ремонту протечек в пдфе и мануал по общему ремонту;) правдп все на пиндостанском, но базового инглиша хватает с лихвой, если кому нуна, пишите в лику почту
2Кирыч Официальный service manual от крайслера? в пдф'е? официально таких нет, разве что кто-то сделал самостоятельно. А двигатель 2.8 дизельный там присутствует? Очень интересно посмотреть.
ну почему же нет, очень даже есть и самый что ни на есть официальный, ток он называется не сервисный а мануал владельца, но сервисная инфа там тоже присутствует вся какая нужна, вот про дизель там нет, ток разница между коротышем и анлимом указывают хотя не так много там отличается для дизеля и бенза, все что не подойдет в мануале найдете на форуме

Как и обещал выкладываю часть сервис мануала, к сожалению пока не доделал 2 главы: 21 - TRANSMISSION AND TRANSFER CASE и 23 - BODY.
Этот мануал можно использовать для обслуживания JK 2007-2009 годов включительно с бензиновым двигателем 3.8 и дизельным 2.8. Ссылки внутри документа не работают, оглавления нет. Найти нужную главу в документе можно по bookmarks.
Есть еще отдельно wiring diagrams, но до них пока руки не дошли.
p.s. Если кто знаком с аббревиатурами xml, xsl, js. и готов из этого сделать нормальный pdf для всех, я могу поделиться сервис мануалом в формате для ms ie.

да не проблема, конечно выкладывай, тут уже была тема примерно летом про возможность размещать файлы прям на форуме и закрепления темы с мануалами, но были проблемы с решением вопроса по финансированию, членскими взносами и т.д. к сожалению не застал окончания решения этого вопроса, не было возможности форум посещать:( если можешь скинь мне на мыло сервис мануал, чтоб я понял в чем разница и что искать, мож найду или переконверчу
